Abstract
Abstract. The article examines the potential for reconstructive development of the hospitality industry in Ukraine in the context of wartime and post-war challenges. The necessity of transitioning from mere restoration of damaged infrastructure facilities to a profound qualitative restructuring of the entire industry based on digitalization, green transition, and sustainable development is substantiated. Projective thinking is explored as a foundation for creating new creative models of reality in the humanitarian and economic spheres. The key management approaches to reconstruction are identified and characterized in detail: sectoral logical-historical determination, which focuses on restoring specific facilities at the local level through the implementation of individual investment projects; structural-functional balance, which, through a programmatic mechanism, ensures the modernization of settlement infrastructure and the integration of hospitality facilities into the socio-technical systems of settlements; integrated spatial organization, which unites the interests of all stakeholders (government, business, communities) through the foresight methodology at the community and regional levels, ensuring the coordinated development of territorial economic complexes. The sources of financing for reconstructive development are identified: budget funds, international aid, concessions, and public-private partnerships. It is emphasized that the foundation of this transformation is the natural-recreational, cultural-historical, and food tourism-related potential of the country. Based on the analysis of international experience in post-war recovery (Spain, Croatia, Georgia), it is proved that a "tourism boom" can serve as a catalyst for attracting substantial investment, creating new jobs, restoring damaged territories, and rapidly revitalizing the national economy as a whole. A holistic vision of the transformation of the hospitality industry is proposed – from the reconstruction of individual facilities and destinations, through their integration into settlement development programmes, to a large-scale regional foresight project covering all levels of the spatial organization of the industry.
