LOGISTICS INNOVATIONS IN THE AGRICULTURAL MARKET

Abstract

The place of the agricultural market in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in Ukraine and in promoting global food security was assessed, and the features of logistics innovations in the supply chains of agricultural products were identified. The purpose of the article is to study theoretical approaches to considering the agricultural market, clarify its features and functions, characterize the types of logistics in the agricultural market and logistics innovations, and identify obstacles to their implementation by business entities in wartime. It is proven that the importance of the agricultural market for ensuring domestic and global food security, the complexity of the logistics processes of food movement in wartime conditions determine the need for logistics innovations. The essential and criterion features of the agricultural market are substantiated; it is proposed to supplement the list of market functions with a social and security function. The presence of aggravation of problems in the management of agricultural supply chains under martial law in Ukraine is confirmed, which determines the need for market development on an innovative basis.The specifics of agricultural product flows are considered, the factors influencing the formation of logistics supply chains of agricultural products are summarized. The types, role and tasks of distribution (sales), information, warehouse, transport logistics in the agricultural products market are characterized. It is proposed to assess the current state of logistics according to the indicators of the aggregated Logistics Efficiency Index. The main types of logistics innovations in the management of agricultural supply chains and the benefits of their implementation are described. The restraining factors for the implementation of logistics innovations in the agricultural market are emphasized. Further research is required to find ways to implement logistics innovations by business entities in the agricultural market; to develop instruments for state support of agrologistics.
