THE USE OF STRICT “WATERFALL” AND FLEXIBLE “AGILE” MODELS OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Abstract
Abstract. Different methods of project management are explored in this article. Particular attention is paid to the strict Waterfall and flexible Agile types of methodology. The authors review the flexible practice Scrum, a popular model used to manage projects, mainly related to software development, its benefits and features. The principle of Scrum model operation is explored. The structure of the team in the Scrum project, the main component (basis) of Scrum - Product backlog, the process of planning sprints, are considered. Determined that according to the results of the study the use of flexible Scrum methodology is appropriate in an unstable economic situation in Ukraine.
