Abstract
Abstract. This article is devoted to the study of theoretical and practical aspects of external debt in developed countries and developing countries. The most common schemes of restructuring of foreign debt are investigated. The features of mehanisms of overcoming the external debt of countries with different level of economic development are analysed. On the example of developed countries such as the USA, Great Britain and Germany practically considered and analysed the ways of overcoming their foreign debts.
