THE FEATURES OF DOMESTIC MOOC PROJECTS

Abstract

Abstract. The article presents a number of the features, determining the current state of development of the domestic market of massive open online courses (MOOC). Considering the aim of the research, examined the main factors that determine the success of the project Prometheus in Ukrainian market and analyzed the results of the educational process of first two courses. The necessity of introduction of educational innovations such as MOOC, which can have a positive impact on the functioning of the educational market in Ukraine is grounded. The article focuses on the features of implementation of MOOC projects in the Lviv Academy of Commerce. Further research should focus on the developing mechanisms that ensure mass participation and increasing motivation to complete courses in MOOC projects at universities.
