THE STUDY OF THE COMPETITIVENESS OF TOURISM INDUSTRY OF UKRAINE
Abstract
Abstract. The article considers the tourism potential of Ukraine, in particular the tourism industry in Ukraine is analyzed and the share of direct revenues from tourism sector in Ukraine’s GDP is determined. The dynamics of tourist flows in Ukraine is considered, and the purposes of foreign citizens arrivals to Ukraine are defined. The competitiveness of the tourism industry in Ukraine by assessing the competitiveness of the country on the basis of Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI) is studied. Analysed the dynamics of changes and the features of subindices of tourism competitiveness of Ukraine. The rating of public funds investment in the tourism industry of Ukraine is studied. The competitive advantages that should be taken as a basis of formation of Ukraine's competitiveness in the tourism sector are determined. The measures to improve the competitiveness of the tourism industry of Ukraine are proposed.
