Abstract
The relevance of the study is determined by the growing impact of geopolitical crises on the operations of multinational corporations, the transformation of global supply chains, changes in the regulatory environment, and the need to ensure the continuity of corporate governance under conditions of heightened uncertainty. Under these circumstances, the development of flexible leadership models capable of ensuring the timely adaptation of organisations to dynamic external changes has become increasingly important. The purpose of the article is to substantiate flexible leadership strategies aimed at strengthening the organisational resilience of multinational corporations under geopolitical instability and to develop a method for forming an adaptive leadership management system. Methods. The study employs the methods of systems analysis, generalisation, comparative analysis, structural and logical modelling, and scientific abstraction. Results. The essence and key characteristics of flexible leadership within the corporate governance system have been examined. The influence of geopolitical crises on changes in leadership priorities and on ensuring the organisational resilience of multinational corporations has been identified. Contemporary flexible leadership strategies have been systematised, and their functional role in maintaining adaptability, business continuity, and organisational resilience has been substantiated. Institutional, organisational, informational, human resource, and economic challenges hindering the practical implementation of these strategies in international business have been identified. A method for forming an adaptive leadership management system has been developed based on a continuous cycle of geopolitical monitoring, risk assessment, scenario planning, managerial decision-making, implementation, and subsequent adjustment in response to changes in the external environment. Conclusions. It has been demonstrated that integrating the proposed method into existing corporate governance systems will enhance the adaptability of multinational corporations, improve the coherence of management processes, and strengthen the resilience of business operations to geopolitical challenges. Prospects for further research include the development of quantitative indicators for assessing organisational resilience, the empirical validation of the proposed method across multinational corporations operating in different industries, and the investigation of the potential of AI to support adaptive leadership management.
