Abstract

The economic nature of innovative recovery is based on the processes of reproducing economic potential through the introduction of new technologies, organizational solutions, business models, institutions, and resource mobilization mechanisms. Unlike traditional recovery, which is focused primarily on returning the economic system to its previous state, innovative recovery involves the formation of a qualitatively new economic structure capable of providing higher productivity, resource efficiency, and adaptability. The article substantiates the conceptual foundations of innovative recovery of the national economy as a systemic and long-term process aimed not only at overcoming the consequences of economic losses but also at forming a qualitatively new development model. Based on an analysis of the evolution of scientific approaches to economic crises and policies for overcoming them, economic recovery is conceptualized through the interconnected processes of restoration, reconstruction, modernization, and transformation. The economic nature of innovative recovery is revealed through technological, structural, investment, institutional, human, digital, environmental, and spatial dimensions. The key objects of innovative recovery are identified, including restoration of economic potential, innovative reconstruction and modernization of the production and infrastructure base, development of science, technology and human capital, digital and green transformation, structural restructuring of the economy, institutional renewal, and integration into European and global value chains. It has been determined that the economic nature of innovation-driven recovery is grounded in processes of regenerating economic potential through the implementation of new technologies, organizational solutions, business models, institutions, and resource mobilization mechanisms. A conceptual model of innovative recovery of the national economy is proposed, based on the integrated combination of reconstruction, modernization, and structural and technological transformation driven by innovation, knowledge, and advanced technologies. It is substantiated that such a model creates the prerequisites for increasing productivity, competitiveness, resilience, and long-term efficiency of the national economy
