Open Access Policy, Licensing and Copyright

The journal "Herald of Lviv University of Trade and Economics. Technical sciences" adheres to an Open Access policy. All articles are made freely and permanently available immediately upon publication of each issue. Full-text real-time access to the journal’s scientific articles is provided on the official journal website in the "Archives" section.

This corresponds to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access. The journal’s licensing policy is compatible with the vast majority of open access policies and archival practices.

The journal "Herald of Lviv University of Trade and Economics. Technical sciences" operates under the Creative Commons Attribution International License (CC BY).

Readers have the right to:

  • read, download, and distribute materials;
  • copy and print articles;
  • use materials for scientific and educational purposes, provided that proper attribution to the author and the original source is duly indicated.

It is prohibited to:

  • appropriate authorship;
  • use materials for unauthorized commercial purposes without the permission of the authors;
  • distort the content of scientific publications.

Copyright

Authors submitting a manuscript to a peer-reviewed academic journal retain full copyright over their scientific work. Submission and subsequent publication of an article do not entail the transfer of proprietary copyright to the University or the editorial board. Authors retain the right to further use their own text, including its placement in institutional repositories, personal archives, or its use in teaching and research activities, provided that proper reference to the original publication source is included.

The journal recognizes the authors’ right to the integrity of their work and guarantees that any editorial processing is carried out exclusively within the scope of technical, linguistic, or publishing editing without altering the content, scientific conclusions, or the author’s position without the authors’ consent.
