Abstract

The article examines the current situation regarding digital transformation in modern society. It provides an understanding of the role of digital technologies in promoting economic development, shows the place of digital technologies in the development of startups, reveals how digital platforms can influence economic scenarios. It outlines the issues of business digitization and the development of sustainable business models. It involves a futuristic approach to research. It presents practices for achieving sustainable business solutions as an important component of digital transformation. It examines the transformative nature of digital solutions. It explains the situation regarding the transition from traditional management methods to virtual ones. It presents transformative practices of production and consumption for long-term sustainability and economic well-being. It illustrates how digital platforms can transfer and adapt sustainability practices in different economic landscapes, especially from developed countries. It demonstrates the integration of economic, social, environmental and management considerations at both the national and international levels. It is shown that digital solutions are powerful tools for solving environmental problems. It is presented that digital transformation is also crucial for sustainable production and consumption. It is explained that stakeholders are increasingly concerned about environmental issues such as resource depletion, climate change and waste, which prompts the transformation of production and consumption practices for long-term sustainability and economic well-being. It is outlined that environmental sustainability has become a top global priority due to the alarming consequences of climate change and environmental disasters for the economy and development. It is shown that for enterprises, environmental sustainability contributes to creating a positive reputation and strengthening the trust of stakeholders, which leads to moral capital. It is proven that by implementing the proposed research stages for small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the startup mode, it is possible to increase the success of operation and assess the digital technologies involvement effectiveness.
