PLAGIARISM POLICY

The editors accept for publication only original materials, articles that neither have been published before nor have been submitted for publication in other journals. The editors use software to detect text borrowings in submitted manuscripts. Manuscripts, in which plagiarism or textual borrowings are found without reference to the original source, are rejected for publication in the journal by the Editorial Board. The articles are checked for plagiarism using the software StrikePlagiarism.com developed by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.

The Editorial Board analyses any case of plagiarism on the merits. If plagiarism is detected, either by editors or reviewers at any stage before publication of a manuscript, the author(s) will be alerted asking him or her to either rewrite the text or quote the text exactly and cite the original source.

Manuscripts, in which plagiarism is detected, are processed based on the volume of plagiarism present in the manuscript: if there is less than 30% of plagiarism, the manuscript is immediately sent to reviewers for review, and if the volume of plagiarism is more than 30%, the manuscript is rejected without editorial review. Authors are encouraged to review text borrowings and plagiarism of the manuscript and resubmit in a new manuscript.
