STATE AND TRENDS OF THE UKRAINIAN MARKET OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Abstract
The preconditions for the emergence and features of the functioning of the domestic intellectual property market are studied. The analysis of patent activity of domestic and foreign subjects on the territory of Ukraine is carried out. In today's Ukrainian economy, intellectual potential is not yet evaluated properly: the unclaimed accumulated intellectual wealth has become one of the reasons for the collapse of many scientific and production teams in its time, the massive outflow of talented specialists abroad, technological degradation of production. It has been determined that a large number of violations in the field of intellectual property requires the introduction of a wide range of measures to improve it. The basic problems in patenting in Ukraine are revealed and ways of their solution are determined. Creation of the state system of intellectual property protection will become a solid foundation for further innovative development of Ukraine and increase its competitiveness in the world market. The tendencies of development of the Ukrainian intellectual property market are determined.
