THE ROLE OF NORMATIVELY-LEGAL BASE IN REGULATION OF SAFETY OF NON-FOOD PRODUCTS
Abstract
The normative-legal aspects concerning improvement of quality and safety of non-food products and their influence on human health are characterized. The main problems in the production and use of non-food products are determined. The criteria for assessing Ukrainian legislation in the field of regulation of industrial products are considered and the basic legal regulation of the safety of goods in Ukraine is determined. The basic provisions on the safety of goods in domestic markets, which are contained in the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Rights Protection", are provided. The obligatory safety requirements laid down by the producer at the design stage of manufacturing, in the process of manufacturing, storage, sales of products to the end user and usage during the lifetime, are analyzed.
