Abstract

The article analyzes the influence of the industry-regional aspect in the spatial orientation of entrepreneurial activity using the example of the tourism sector. It is proved that when substantiating the spatial orientation of an individual enterprise, a sectoral approach should be followed, which consists in taking into account both existing and possible manufacturers of similar products. This necessitates a one-time analysis of all places of both existing and possible spatial orientation of enterprises for the production of similar products or services. It is determined that when substantiating the spatial orientation of enterprises, it is necessary to focus on the optimum in the industry as a whole, and not on individual optimums in individual enterprises. It is proved that only a calculation covering the industry as a whole can give a truly optimal result, and therefore justifying the location of individual enterprises without following the industry approach, which is to take into account existing and potential producers of similar products will not provide the overall optimal result. In order to substantiate the boundaries of the region to determine the optimal place of spatial orientation of the enterprise should use the division of economic sectors into areas of inter-district, intra-district and local importance. It is substantiated that the size of the region within which the sectoral approach should be followed when choosing the place of spatial orientation of enterprises, directly depends on the transportability of products. It is proved that it is impossible to solve the problem of finding the optimal place of spatial orientation of business based on any one company or industry, region. This will allow only a comprehensive approach that combines both sectoral and regional aspects, as well as analysis of both existing and potential business structures will give the only correct result in terms of spatial orientation of productive forces, which in turn will maximize the profits of the latter.
