Abstract
This article deeply analyzes the role of agribusiness within the framework of the green economy concept and its strategic alignment towards achieving sustainable development. It aims to explore how contemporary trends in the agricultural sector can be adapted and addressed within the requirements of the green economy to create a sustainable and environmentally responsible agricultural system. The article begins by discussing the importance of agribusiness in the context of defined principles of the green economy and its potential contribution to achieving sustainable development. A significant emphasis is placed on the necessity of revisiting traditional agricultural practices and implementing innovative technologies that reduce environmental impact and optimize resource usage. Subsequently, key aspects of the green approach to agribusiness are examined, such as the conservation of natural resources, emission reduction, and the implementation of circular economy principles in agricultural production. The article highlights the importance of developing effective waste management strategies, creating integrated energy efficiency management systems, and utilizing alternative energy sources in agro-industrial complexes. A separate section of the article is dedicated to the analysis of the social dimensions of sustainable agribusiness, including issues of social responsibility, job creation, and improvement of living conditions in rural areas. A significant emphasis is placed on the necessity of establishing collaborative relationships between agribusiness, communities, and government authorities to promote sustainable development in regions. In the concluding part of the article, conclusions are drawn regarding the potential of agribusiness in achieving sustainable development within the framework of the green economy. Recommendations for state policies and the business sector are provided for further development of an ecologically balanced and economically efficient agricultural sector. Thus, the article makes a significant contribution to understanding and developing strategies to ensure sustainable development of agribusiness within the requirements of the green economy.
