Abstract

The article examines inventory management and logistics in e-commerce, which are key components of successful business operations in the digital age. With the development of technology and globalization, e-commerce has become the main channel for doing business, which has significantly changed approaches to supply chain management, especially inventory. The article examines strategic approaches to inventory management that include the use of automated systems, artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies, and Big Data. An important aspect of the research is the integration of innovative technologies into logistics processes, which allows not only to optimize inventory management, but also to increase the flexibility and adaptability of companies to rapidly changing market conditions. The purpose of the study is to analyze modern approaches to inventory management and logistics in e-commerce, as well as to identify key factors affecting the effectiveness of these processes. The article compares traditional inventory management models and the latest techniques used by leading e-commerce companies. The risks associated with the introduction of innovative solutions in logistics and inventory management are also considered, in particular, cyber security issues and the difficulty of implementing new technologies in small and medium-sized enterprises. One of the main conclusions of the study is the importance of implementing automated inventory management and logistics systems, which allows companies to respond more quickly to changes in demand and ensure timely delivery of goods. Inventory management and logistics in e-commerce are key factors influencing the success of businesses in today's digital economy. The introduction of innovative technologies, such as artificial intelligence and blockchain, allows to significantly increase the efficiency of inventory management in e-commerce, reduce costs, shorten delivery times and improve customer satisfaction. The conclusions of the article can be used for further research in the field of logistics and e-commerce, as well as for the development of practical recommendations for optimizing inventory management.
