Abstract

Product range policy is one of the most important tools in gaining the commitment of consumers, in obtaining the desired profit and in the struggle of a trading company with competitors. The article considers a variety of methods for optimization of the product range from the perspective of existing approaches, as well as presents the main advantages and disadvantages of the considered methods. The method of analysis and management of the company product range is presented, with the help of which it is possible to constantly analyze the existing range at the enterprise. The article deals with several different methods of analysis of the product range portfolio of the company, as well as combination of several well-known and universal methods of conducting a complete analysis of the competitiveness of the product range.
