Abstract
The market preconditions of the development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine, which are defined both by trends of domestic consumer demand as well as by the efficiency of state administration, are substantiated. The characteristic of interconnections between the development of entrepreneurship and the tendencies of import saturation of the domestic market is given. The results of the analysis of macroeconomic prerequisites of the state policy of import substitution in Ukraine are revealed and the conclusions about the current state of entrepreneurship development in the domestic market are made. The characteristics of future changes in the sphere of entrepreneurship that can take place while preserving a high level of import dependence of the domestic market of Ukraine are given. The directions of ensuring the development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine in the context of a high level of import saturation of the domestic market are determined.
