THE ESSENCE AND SIGNIFICANCE OF RISK APPETITE IN ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT
Abstract
Abstract. Income of enterprises is a manifestation of such risk, which they will agree to and will take into account in the process of their activity. For this purpose, the concept of risk appetite is used, which allows to establish a balance between the desired result and the possible danger in the process of achieving the goals. The article discusses suggestions that can help organizations to develop and present a clear idea of their risk appetite in order to determine what tasks should be achieved in defining and taking into account the organization's appetite for risk. Risk appetite is seen as acceptable to the company for the level of harm that it is able to afford to achieve its strategic goals. To better understand the company's appetite for risk, risk capacity and risk tolerance are also considered. The place, significance and basic characteristics of risk appetite in the general process of risk management at the enterprise are determined.
