ATTITUDES TO ANEXIA IN THE MODERN WORLD

Abstract

The world is developing rapidly, trends are changing, the legislation changes, international relations change and the attitude to certain events changes, something remains relevant, something loses its position. We are trying to live in a civilized world in which the attitude towards brutality, illegal acts and violations of international norms is sharply negative. But in spite of the rapid development in all spheres, sometimes there are certain events that could be relevant and the attitude towards them would be less categorical if it were happening hundreds or decades ago, but not in the twenty-first century, when the international community tries to create unions, to live in peace and mutual help. The anechoic of the Crimea, which took place a couple of years ago, is evidence of backwardness and an elemental desire to remain in the past with imperialist points. In this article, we are in the meanwhile trying to understand what the authorities of the Russian Federation undertook to carry out this act of capturing the territories of Ukraine, what are the consequences of these events and what is the attitude of the world community to this.
